Tyneside Locksmith & Handyman Service an independent local locksmith and handyman service based in Hebburn and is owned by me – Paul Crawford. We are not a national franchise or a call centre so you know that when you call me for any services you are speaking directly to me and that I will be the one that comes out to see you.
I have been a locksmith for just over 3 years but have been in the security industry for over 20 years including military service. I am proud of the great service I provide.

Same Day Repairs
I am on call 24 hours a day for any type of locksmith work, including emergency lockouts, lock changes and repairs.
Our normal operating hours are
- 8am to 8pm Mon – Fri
- 9am – 5pm on Saturdays
During these timings you can book us in for security upgrades, non urgent locksmith services and any handyman related tasks. As well as the traditional locksmith services I can also provide an expert service for the more modern UPVC Doors and Windows and also Composite Doors.
Fully Stocked Vans
With one of the best stocked vans in the UK, I always carry locks and spares from the leading lock manufacturers such as Yale, Chubb, Multi-T, Ultron, ERA and Union, so you can be assured I can repair or change your lock on the spot with the minimum of fuss. This means repeat visits that cost you more money are not required 99% of the time.
As a local and caring family run locksmith, I don’t charge any call out fees and there are no hidden charges or service extras to rack up your bill and I always stand by my quotes. I have lived in the local area for many years and indeed know a lot of local customers personally, therefore I like to stand by the reputation I have as a trusted locksmith that provides customers with the very best service possible and I am fiercely proud of my company.
